Is it true that carpets get dirty quicker once they have been cleaned? |

New carpets are designed to stay looking clean for as long as possible but once they do need cleaning, choosing a proper cleaning system is vital. Some carpet cleaning systems and incorrect application methods leave a residue which accelerates re-soiling and defeats the whole purpose of cleaning. If you take the cheapest quote, from somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing (or doesn’t care), this is probably what you will get. This is not the case with the systems and products that Astroclean use. And if you choose our Platinum Service we will apply a protective stainguard and give you a free bottle of our own cleaning solution to remove those unavoidable stains that occur between professional cleans. |

Will my carpet shrink? |

A small number of carpets are prone to shrinkage. Astroclean can spot this before cleaning has started and take measures for prevention. |

How long will it take to clean my carpets? |

This will depend on the size of the area and the amount of soiling but Astroclean can give an approximate timescale with your quotation. A 14ft x 14ft carpet usually takes about an hour and with the latest equipment we use, we will complete the work as fast as possible in order that your home or commercial premises will return to normal as soon as possible. |

How long will it take my carpets to dry? |

There are a few factors to consider including the amount of soiling in the carpets, the length of pile and the temperature in the property. Carpets usually dry within three to four hours and we can use a fan to speed drying time. You may walk on the carpet whilst it is still damp so long as you wear footwear (slippers, socks or shoe covers, shoes are fine if the bottoms are clean). It is also very important not to slip when walking from a damp carpet to hard surfaces. Please be careful. |

Do you move furniture? |

Astroclean don’t expect you to move out and empty your home or commercial business premises so that we can clean! We do ask that smaller items are removed from the area so that we do not spend the whole time moving these rather than what you are paying for (ie your carpet to be cleaned). Also at Astroclean, we are particularly concerned that there is no risk of breakage. Discussion before cleaning will allow us to agree what is acceptable. |

Can you remove dog, cat and other pet urine stains? |

Astroclean can clean, sanitise and remove odour from dog, cat and other animal urine but the stain may be permanent if the ammonia in the urine has affected the colour of the fibres. |

Why should you have your carpets cleaned by an independent van mount? |

It's twice as quick to clean carpets and upholstery with an independent van mount because there is no setting up of equipment, filling or emptying of tanks, or re-loading of equipment. The cleaning machines used by Astroclean are totally self sufficient. The only things we bring into your premises are the hose and wand. We don't use your electricity, or water. We don't dispose of the dirty water on your premises as even this is pumped back to our truck. These machines are twenty five times more powerful than a commercial carpet cleaning machine, therefore our operators can work twice as fast. |

These days most people have contents insurance that includes cover for accidental damage. If you accidentally damage your carpet or upholstery, we will visit and attempt to restore it.
